The purchase price payable by the buyer shall be the sum of the final bid plus a buyer’s premium of 25%.
Purchases are subject to 7.375% Westchester County/New York State sales tax with the following exceptions: (a) items shipped outside of New York State by a trucking or shipping company are exempt from state and local sales tax, (b) registered re-sellers are also exempt from state and local sales tax, however, completed resale certificates must be provided to Clarke Auction prior to the time of purchase.
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, money order, Visa MasterCard, Discover, and bank wire transfer. Credit card payments by phone are NOT accepted; cards must be swiped in person in our gallery.
You may pay for your purchase immediately after the auction by going to the Clarke Auction Gallery office. If you pay by check, we ask for your patience as your purchase will be released upon notice that your check has cleared. Payments must come from the invoiced party only – We reserve the right to decline payments received from anyone other than the invoiced party.
Payment must be made within 5 days from the sale date using your preferred payment method. If payment is not made within 5 days of purchase date, Clarke Auction reserves the right to charge your Visa or Mastercard.
